Sit N’ Stand stoller, can it work like this to?

Posted on September 7th, 2010 by admin in sit n stand stroller | 2 Comments »

I know with the stroller the older toddler is to sit or stand in the back and the younger child or even an infant car seat is to sit up front, well what happens if my toddler gets tired and wants to sleep, can i put her in the from and move the infant car seat in the back? or wont it work this way

It depends on what kind of sit and stand stroller you have. I just bought a "double" sit and stand stoller and you can put the carrier in the back.

i have a 4 year old and a newborn and would like a double jogging stroller that will fit them both?

I have heard about the sit-n-stand stroller but I am really hoping for a jogging stroller! Any ideas on where I can find one for an older child and a newborn (due in December)?

I love my Bob Revolution Duallie! It can take up to 100lbs in weight 50 in each seat and you can even get a car seat adapater for the infant seat. The only real downsize is the price, for the double it will run about 589.99 at babiesrus

AGE RECOMMENDATIONS

We recommend that your child should be at least 8 weeks old before riding in a BOB stroller. Please note that babies incapable of holding their head up must have additional head and neck support to ride safely and comfortably. For jogging or off-road stroller use, children should be at least 8 months old.

With the addition of the Infant Car Seat Adapter, newborns can safely ride in the stroller. This accessory will allow parents to use select Infant car Seats with single and double seat BOB Strollers, and will work with the best selling Infant Car Seat models available.

Consult with your pediatrician regarding the suitability of stroller use with your child.
WEIGHT LIMITS

Single-child BOB strollers have a weight limit of 70 lbs/32 kg. Duallie models have a weight limit of 100 lbs/45kg or 50 lbs/22.5 kg. per seat.

Baby Trend double sit n stand or Graco Duoglide?

Posted on September 7th, 2010 by admin in sit n stand stroller | 2 Comments »

I’m looking for a double stroller for my newborn and 2 year old. I would like one I can put the car seat in back and toddler in front. The double sit n stand can hold 2 car seats, and is the one I’m leaning towards, because it converts to a normal sit n stand, which will be nice in a short while when my toddler is ready. However my concern is that my graco car seat won’t fit in this stroller. Thoughts and advice please?? Target has the sit n stand on sale today is the last day so I will be going to look at it later. http://www.target.com/Baby-Trend-Double-Sit-Stand-Green/dp/B002XTSRXS/ref=br_1_1?ie=UTF8&frombrowse=1&qid=1275745571&searchView=grid5&sr=1-1&node=3580041&searchRank=pmrank&searchPage=1&rh=&searchSize=30&id=Baby%20Trend%20Double%20Sit%20Stand-Green&searchBinNameList=purchasing_channel%2Cstyle_name%2Ctarget_com_brand-bin%2Ctarget_com_primary_color-bin%2Cprice

I have heard that the Graco car seat does fit in this stroller (there is a question board on the Walmart site that answered this question for this stroller), however I have the Eddie Bauer car seat from another stroller (after having baby number 2, I can’t use this stroller anymore) set that fits perfectly in the baby trend stroller. It has a strap that fits the car seat securely.

Let me tell you that this stroller is awesome! At first it seems huge, but it collapses easily and is very easy to maneuver. Target is also great with returns as long as you have the receipt. I love my sit n stand!

Should I buy a double stroller or a "sit ‘n stand" model?

I have a 4 year old and one on the way…any advice would be great! Any features that I should look for?

I would go for the sit-n-stand, or even just a single stroller. A double would be a waste (extra $$ plus bulky and heavy) for you because I can’t imagine a 4 year old wanting to ride very often.

Does anyone have the One Step Ahead Sit ‘n Stand Elite Double Stroller? What do you think of it?

We are thinking of getting it for our 20 mo. old & our newborn.
Thanks!

i love it but it is kinda bulky so if u plan on traving with it make sure you have the room to cart it with u. but its nice because the older child doesnt have to sit all the time they can stand and see stuff better. also the front seat doesnt recline so make sure the stroller works with whatever infant carrier that you have. there is a list inside the box and probably one on the website. hope this helps

Baby Trend Sit n Stand Double Strollers?

Posted on September 7th, 2010 by admin in sit n stand stroller | 2 Comments »

I need a little help! I’ve been reviewing and researching sit n stand strollers for what seems like forever now! Of course, hardly any of the baby trend strollers are available in stores, only online. (I’ve looked everywhere!) I think I’ve narrowed it down to the baby trend silverado model or the baby trend everest model. Does anyone have either of these models? I have a 22 month old and a newborn. My 22 month old is very tall and weighs 36 pounds, so I’m looking for leg room!!

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

I also have been doing the research and it seems that Target has a newer model in Mesa. You can put the car seat in the back and not just the front, like the other models. I went to Target and tried it out it seems like a good deal.
The others are just like the traditional sit and stand as far as the size of the front seat etc… Did you happen to see the video on you tube it is by stollerdepot.com. I also have a 22month and a newborn and will probably get this newer version

I want to buy a baby trend sit n stand stroller.?

Posted on September 7th, 2010 by admin in sit n stand stroller | 3 Comments »

Ok, so like I said I want to buy a baby trend sit – n – stand stroller. But can I use any infant carrier on it, or does it have to be a baby trend infant carrier? Specifically I am asking about a Graco Josephine Infant Car Seat or any Graco infant carrier.

Graco snugrides are compatible with the Baby Trend Sit n Stand stroller. Peg Perego primo viaggio, Evenflo and Cosco seats also work.

Which infant seats are compatible with Baby Trend Sit ‘n Stand LX stroller?

Posted on September 1st, 2010 by admin in sit n stand stroller | 3 Comments »

Does anyone know if it’s only Baby Trend infant carrier car seats or if they accommodate other brands as well? Thanks

The Baby Trend LX stroller accommodates Baby Trend car seats and all other brands as well. Most Baby Trend strollers will allow competitor brand carseats to fit into the stroller.
