InStep Quick N EZ Bicycle Trailer

2 InStep Quick N EZ Bicycle TrailerThe InStep Quick N Z Bicycle Trailer is a great way to take your child for a bike ride or jog. The trailer can be made completely weatherproof (in terms of rain and wind) in case you come across a stray rain shower on your ride/run. It is easy to set-up on your bike using a quick pin connection.

Other features-

- Easy to connect to your bike, once you have the quick release through the spindle
- Can fit two children (although it is a tight fit)
- Rolls smoothly
- Reflective design – it is very easy to see on the road

A few drawbacks

- Your child sits on the canvas – there is not a hard seat
- I am not a huge fan of the safety restraints – they are not designed with comfort in mind.
- Unless it is folded down this thing takes up a lot of space.

Final Verdict –

A great option for a pul behind trailer – while it doesn’t look too comfortable it is a great way to take your child along for a ride!

Who knows anything about a Schwinn running stroller?

Posted on September 7th, 2010 by admin in schwinn jogging stroller | 1 Comment »

I seen this tight running stroller.. it is a Schwinn Joyrider Jogging stroller. It has 20" alloy wheels in the front and back and holds up to 50lbs. It has the zipper front that attaches to the canopy… the thing looks bad ass, but before I commit nearly $300 I would like to hear if any one has a review on it. I run usually 3-6 miles at a time, mostly on road/sidewalk type ground. I want something durable and that will be comfortable for my babe. Any feedback will be greatly appreciated; and please only serious responses. Thanks in advance.

Runner’s World has a stroller review up and the model you are currently looking at was reviewed as such :

"Thanks to the Joyrider’s 20-inch wheels and adjustable-height handlebar, my stride wasn’t hampered at all as I cruised an 11-mile fire road in Portland. And collapsing it postrun was child’s play–I just clicked the fold "triggers" on either side of the handlebar. To stash it in the trunk of our Saab wagon, I had to take off the quick-release tires, but when I drove our Honda minivan, it fit fine with the tires on. In the Oregon rain, my son and I appreciated the attached rain shield that zips out of the canopy. Using the stroller to tool around town, I liked having a drink tray and a roomy under-carriage basket for running errands."

I wish I did know something about it to help out Mrs. Super Mom but unfortunately I don’t.
However, here are a few pages with reviews.

Which is better… InStep Safari or Schwinn Safari double jogging stroller? I need to buy one asap. THANKS?

I am looking for someone who uses the stroller for jogging and hard walking…. I have a four-month-old and a two-year-old so I’ll be using it for a while.

Both the Schwinn Safari and the InStep Safari are great jogging strollers. They’re durable, comfortable for the kids, easy to assemble, and just all around great. In addition, they have swivel wheels so that they are great for regular use also. I know several families who have them, and they never seem to complain about either one. And neither do the kids.

As far as comparisons go, they’re pretty much the same thing with minor, mostly aesthetic, differences. I noticed that the InStep Safari is the more popular one, but I don’t think you can go wrong with either one.

Which is the best jogging stroller?

I want something that looks nice but can still get the job done. Im looking to start not jogging but roller blading and planning on taking my baby with me so she can get out for a while. I started working again so time bonding time and park time has kinda gone down but anywho Im looking around and there’s different prices and brands so Im not sure which one is the best. Any suggestios anyone?
I need a single jogger and my daughter is year already so yeah just I’d throw that out there.

Speaking as a running mother of 2 (1 year old and 3 year old) I LOVE LOVE LOVE out babyjogger jogging stroller. We actually have two jogging strollers – a babyjobber and a Chariot. The chariot is a double and is good for not only jogging, but cycling and cross country skiing.

Benefits of babyjogger – very easy to fold to put in your car, light, very good quality.
Drawbacks – accessories are extra (such as sun shade and bug screen), can’t put baby in it until at least 3 months

Benefits of Chariot – comes with built in bug screen, shade and rain barrier; multi-purpose; if you buy the bivvy sac you can put baby in it early on because they lie flat in it.
Drawbacks – heavier, bigger, more difficult to disassemble to put in your car

I know nothing about strollers & need help (Schwinn or InSTEP)….?

Posted on July 10th, 2010 by admin in schwinn jogging stroller | 1 Comment »

Does anyone have either of these two or know if there is a significant difference?

(Huge price difference, that’s why I ask.)

If you can afford it, I would go with the one that has a front swivel wheel. We had a double jogger that didn’t and it was a pain in my behind. I had to push down on the handle to lift the front (pop it) to turn corners, I hardly ever used it and finally sold it.
