Which double stroller should I buy for my upcoming twins?
I am looking for something:
- Not too expensive
- Side by side
-Light weight- easy to carry
- Easy to fold ( got a small trunk)
- Full backrest recline separately
So far I’ve been looking at double jogger 16" wheels ( not sure what brand is that)
and the Combi side by side double stroller.
Also I am planning to get the baby trend snap n go double stroller but I know my babies will grow out of them after 8 months or so, that’s why I feel I need to shop for a double stroller.
Thanks
Actually the double jeep stroller meets all of those and is only $100 new. I got one used for $30
I also have the double snap and go, and the duoglide for when that gets to small.
Most moms of twins end up with several strollers. Your one for long walks at home, and the one for the car (jeep is perfect for that once snap and go gets too small).
At 3.5 month my guys are still in the snap and go for now, but I like the others a lot to!
I may also get a used jogging stroller for long walks from the house. Heck, maybe I’ll even jog!
Check Craig’s list. You can buy for 25% of the new cost. And stroller’s don’t expire. As long as it isn’t broken, its fine.
Another stroller question about double strollers…?
Ok, now that I have some ideas of what to buy, I have a couple of questions. Is the double jogger (in general) any wider than a double side by side? Do double side by sides fold down easily? Would you rather have a double side by side in a mall than a double jogger? Basically, I’m trying to compare the 2. Is it worth having BOTH a double jogger AND a double side by side? Why or why not?
I would say that it is worth having both. You pretty well seem very imformed. There are conviences of both kinds. double jogger better in malls. side by side suitable for stroll in park, etc. it also kind of depends on the children and there mood. side by side it’s more convient for communication between children, probably less hair pulling and things as well.
I’d so go for both
Okay parents…double stroller help (again)?
Did some research online. Decided on the Graco Quattra tour duo. Went to Babies R Us (with $20 off coupon). Found the Baby Trend Expedition double jogger for nearly $60 less. Figured we would be saving money.
Let’s just say that we were extremely disappointed. When you can’t even get through the door at the mall, something just isn’t right!
Now we have to return it. But I ask…
Do we go with the Graco Quattro Tour Duo (our original pick) or the less expensive Quatrro DuoGlider?
Any experience?
I really like the look of the Graco Quattro Tour Duo – and it appears to be quite functional, giving you the option to keep your new born in the carseat.
I haven’t used either of the two strollers you mention. Instead I had a ‘Phil and Ted’s’ stroller with doubles kit and totally loved it. The products available to parents are soo much better than they were just a few years ago when I needed them.
I say go with your original choice.
What is the best double stroller?
I was thinking of getting a double jogging stroller for my 2.5 year old and 18 month old toddlers. I really like the Baby Trend Double Jogger. But can you use a double jogger for everyday use? That means grocery shopping and etc. If not what kind of double stroller should I get?
we had the BOB Revolution Duallie, which was great for jogging, but not for everyday use. The Baby Jogger brand, or something like Urban Baby might make ones better for multi use, like going to a festival or park. However, its pretty hard to even grocery shop with a single stroller, as where would you put the groceries if there is only one of you.
I have finally choosen a double buggy please help me pick the colour?
I have choosen The Baby Jogger city mini double buggy and here is the colour options which one would you choose –

Tike Tech City vs Baby jogger mini double stroller?
Have any of you try either one of these strollers? Which one did you like better? do they fit through standard doors? I’m comparingTike Tech City X3 Swivel Double Stroller vs Baby Jogger City Mini Double Stroller
two completely different strollers. The Tike Tech is an all terrain stroller while the Mini is better suited for malls/paved terrain. If you want to compare a Tike Tech to the Baby Jogger you need to compare the Elite not the Mini
We found out we are having twin boys. I need all the advice I can get. I also have a one year old girl.?
I also have a one year old girl. Should I get a triple stroller? We have decided on names but I am open to suggestions. We like the name Ryan and James. I need a middle name for Ryan. If anyone knows of any good twin websites let me know. Thank you for your time!!
Definitely need a good stroller, but I’d suggest a twin w/ a toddler seat, since the only triples out there are tandem (which are horrible). I have a daughter that’s 18 months older than my twin boys, so a similar age gap. I highly recommend the Valco stroller, it’s the only side by side twin I’ve seen that has a third seat option (toddler seat), it’s a bit expensive (we bought ours off craigslist) and bulky (your in a minivan anyway…no other options, other than full-size van), but it’s a phenomenal stroller for three. The seats don’t take car seats however, but they fully recline to accommodate infants (my 2 month old rides in it now). I would recommend looking for a snap and go twin car seat frame to purchase in addition to this, if you decide to go this way for early on when they’re still in car seats and you don’t want to remove them. The only twin site I’m pointing your towards is the site for the national mothers of twins club, which will have links to local clubs in your area. Check them out, they are fantastic, even if you aren’t looking to attend meetings. Attendance brings relationships and other moms who have an understanding of your situation, but there are other benefits that make joining well worth while on their own (club outings, play groups, discounted tickets and year or bi-yearly consignment sales (as both buyer and seller)), especially the consignment sales (you might be able to attend one as a prospective member) for slightly used, cheap baby gear and clothing (multiples are expensive). As for the names, what is to be the middle name for James? It’ll make it easier for suggesting names.
One more thing, I wanted to recommend a diaper bag. I just had my fourth child (2 months ago) and bought a great diaper bag for this birth. It’s the skip hop duo double, it’s huge, lots of pockets, good washable material, good straps (both messenger style and over shoulder) and best of all it has special attachments for hanging on a double stroller (they also have single wides called just duo).
This question is for Moms of triplets or moms of 3 young kids…?
what type of triple stroller do you have? What is the price range and do you like it? PLEASE ONLY ANSWER THIS IF YOU HAVE A TRIPLE STROLLER!
hey there,
im 24 weeks with triplets, and we recieved our first stroller just last week. a friend of mine has the same one and we thought i would work great. it is called the triple decker.
the only downside is that it will only carry car seats. you can buy the toddler seats but they look very uncomfortable.
sadly i do not know whaty the price is; my parents gave it to us as a gift.
What is a good minivan for a family of 7?
me and my husband are currebtly in the market for a minivan. We will have 5 children come December and need enough room behind the 3rd roll of seats to fit a triple stroller. We also want one the gets desent gas mileage. Thanks in advance.
Toyota Sienna or Honda Odyssey.
IT doesnt cost a lot to maintain both models and both lasts a long time. You might want to consider a GMC Yukon Hybrid when it comes out.
Can you help? Need advice on peg perego triplette stroller! any triplet moms out there?
I need to hear from anyone that has ever used a peg perego triplette triple stroller- i have the option to purchase the older 2005 model without the steering or the newer model with the steering wheel. i have heard both good and bad things about the new version- some say the steering wheel breaks and such. i haven’t heard much about the older one with the straight handlebar steering. i dont have money to waste- so i need to get the right one! please help, need to purchase this tomorrow!
I have the 2008 Triplette Peg Perego. We used it a lot the first year and have had no problems with it. Once my triplets were out of the baby carriers we started using a Baby Triplet Jogger more. But the Peg Perego is handy in using in malls because it is easy to steer and to get out of tight spaces. I can actually push the Peg Perego with one hand and have coffee on my other hand while I’m pushing my kids.
If you are buying a 2005 model, see if you can try it first. Most brand new Peg Perego you cannot "test drive" because most stores do not carry them in store but you can special order them.
